- Working in the US: ASCP BOC is essential — MLS(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) is the standard for most hospital and reference laboratory positions.
- Working in Canada: CSMLS MLT is required in most provinces — check your provincial regulatory body.
- Working in Australia or NZ: AIMS membership is the professional standard, with NPAAC accreditation as a parallel requirement.
